The call

The onboarding call.

Scheduled for 45 minutes.

Record it. The recording is the raw material for their mini-site and content. Open with one line: "We record these so our team can build your profile from your own words. That good with you?"

What the call covers

Open

1. Welcome them in as a Founder

Founder to founder. This is the opportunity, not a purchase they need to justify. Then: "This is a working session so our team can build your profile and marketing for you. Your only homework is a few photos at the end."

Verify

2. Confirm license & the facts

Quick confirm of what is on the intake form: license, insurance, the cities they serve. This is the part of vetting that happens live.

Dig

3. Services, margins, the work they want

Which services have the best margins. Which they want to be known for versus what they currently get calls for. Pricing ranges and timelines.

Dig

4. Their story & their customers

Why they started. The before and after of a customer's situation. How they answer "too expensive." Their proudest job.

Dig

5. What they want to be known for

The one thing a perfect customer should remember. Get two or three versions in their own words. Behind each, find the real edge or the real guarantee.

Close

6. The photo ask + what's next

"Your one job is to upload a few best jobs as before, during, and after photos. Your city pages do not go live until you have one. We will send you a single link." Then walk them through the path: we vet, we build, one link, you approve, it goes live.
